K2 is the latest phase of development and growth here at Kingmoor Park.
The outline consent for K2 allows for up to 1,100,000 sq ft of industrial/distribution buildings in sizes from 30,000 sq ft to 600,000 sq ft, specified to the occupier’s exact requirements, up to and including BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+.
Occupiers will benefit from easy access to the M6 at junction 44, providing HGV travel times of 3.5 hours to Birmingham, 1.5 hours to Glasgow and 2 hours to Edinburgh.
It also allows for the construction of the main estate roads running north/south and east/west across the site.
The new DPD depot opened in Q3 2023. Buildings on all remaining plots will be designed exclusively to occupier requirements. The consent includes a maximum clear height of 25m.

This will ensure EPC A as a minimum standard across the site. All buildings will come with 10 year warranties, which will help to keep the life cycle costs as low as possible.

So, if you want features like rainwater harvesting, water conserving sanitary ware, LED lighting with daylight sensors, glazing with high thermal performance; whatever it is that matters to you – we will provide it.
During construction, we will meet any requirement you may have for use of renewable or locally sourced materials. Doing so reduces a building’s embedded carbon footprint and help the local economy.
We are also targeting at least 90% of construction waste being diverted from landfill.

The target for all new buildings at K2 is EPC A. But, with use of the on site solar, or a roof mounted solar array, we can achieve EPC A+ and Net Zero Carbon in operation.
